We are delighted to welcome Kilmarnock author G J Moffat to the Burns Monument Centre for this memorable crime double-bill with Caro Ramsay.
G J Moffat is a father, husband, writer and lawyer although
sometimes he’s not quite sure in what order. He was born and
raised in Kilmarnock and always had the urge to write about good guys and bad guys and his debut novel Daisychain brings them to life in glorious technicolor. His followup novel Fallout will be published in early 2010 and he has agreed a deal to publish two further novels.
Caro Ramsay was born in Govan, trained as an osteopath in London and started her writing career after a serious back injury. Absolution, her first book, raced up the bestseller charts here and in America.
Her second book Singing to the Dead was published earlier this year to glowing reviews – ‘tightly plotted and skilfully handled; she could step into Ian Rankin’s shoes if she keeps this up’. She
is now hard at work on her third novel but taking time out to take part in our Evening of Crime. Prepare to be riveted
by Caro’s highly entertaining take on the world of crime publishing and her fast track to the bestseller lists.
