Join us for this fun, hands-on puppet making workshop brought to you by the team from Glasgow’s Scottish Mask and Puppet Centre. Design and make your very own rod puppet character; choose your features, hair, clothes and accessories with ideas and advice from the very experienced and dedicated SMPC staff.
The workshop will include a short introduction with puppets from the Centre’s impressive collection. This workshop is perfect for parents, teachers, workshop leaders and adults generally interested in puppets.
Over a period of twenty-five years the Scottish Mask and Puppet Centre has acted as a resource centre and lead agency for all those with an interest in mask and puppet theatre. They specialise in cultural animation projects, professional training, international residencies and transcultural workshops, education and therapy work, touring exhibitions and performances, film and special effects, research and publications.
